The CCHS Leadership Program is a course founded in Positive Psychology and resilience, providing juniors and seniors with the skills necessary to be a leader in our global world. It is a year-long course which includes lectures during first semester and independent projects during second semester. The course includes critical readings on leadership, theories, styles and traits as well as exploring Catholic leaders. Students learn practical leadership training, communication skills, develop a leadership inventory profile and create Capstone projects.

This program gives students experiential learning opportunities to broaden their worldview and develop a sense of where their passions may be found. The Cathedral Scholars Honors Program seeks to challenge academically gifted students on their individual journeys through high school. Through individual guidance and academic planning, Cathedral Scholars learn to set goals and work to achieve them during their four years at CCHS. The students in the program are expected to be a part of the school community, participate in meaningful service projects that benefit the greater community, contribute to the CCHS Blog and engage in an academically rigorous program of studies. The Cathedral Scholars Honors Program is a highly competitive program. After registering, incoming Freshmen are invited to apply to the program based on their eighth grade academic records and High School Placement Test scores.
